先要讀懂色環(huán)，在赤橙黃綠青藍紫的豐厚顏色中，紅、藍、黃是根本的三原色，它們可以分配出其它顏色。譬如綠，是由藍黃兩色彩出來的，黃多些配出草綠，而藍多些便配出深綠。

二、冷色、暖色

顏色有冷暖之說，偏紅偏黃稱為暖，偏藍偏綠稱為冷。細細察看下圖的紅色，紅得卻各種各樣。左側的粉紅、玫瑰紅、紫紅算冷色紅，而右側的辣椒紅、西瓜紅、橘紅算暖色紅。
